Broken Water Pipes Palm Beach Gardens
Burst water pipes are a nightmare when you have a beautiful home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This plumbing problem causes leaks and possible floodings. It’s a good idea to know a local plumber in your area.
Broken water pipes can happen in everybody’s home because of the age; when your house has galvanized or copper piping over the years, they get in bad shape. The galvanized pipe usually means a house is 40 to 70 years old.
As a homeowner is essential to know where is the location of the main valve, in case of a pipe breaks, you will avoid significant damages.
Have a meter key in your home to turn off the water meter in case you can not find the main valve; you can buy it at Home Depot.
It is a simple process. Take the top of the lid off of meter; there is a slot on the street side, place the meter key over the top of the slot and turn it until it is not parallel to the pipe.

Ted was the best!!! Talk about personalized service. He helped me replace my water heater in a tight tiny closet and worked hard to fit the new one in. He was extremely fair on pricing as compared to other plumbing companies that are out for commission and to make extra because of the specialty. I appreciate Hardenburgh Plumbing being honest and fair. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!Posted on Google![]()

Ted is a solid guy who wants to get the job done. He was here training his helper in the craft of plumbing. Working within a small space of a newly reconstructed bathroom they were careful not to damage anything and clean up afterwards. All this and at a reasonable and fair price.Posted on Google![]()

Broken Water Pipes Repair and Replacement
One of the biggest problems right now in the insurance industry is polybutylene pipe. Polybutylene pipe, installed in the ’80, produces floods because of the joints breaking apart.
Insurance companies will not write a policy for your home if you have polybutylene pipe; the solution will be re-piping.
PEX pipes are a good option nowadays for residential and industrial plumbing; it is a lightweight pipe that does not wear easily with time and is more durable than copper piping. The average life span of PEX for plumbing purposes is over 50 years.
